On Friday, 28 March 2025, the Department of Public Works and Infrastructure (DPWI) – Expanded Public Works Programme (EPWP) Training Unit, in collaboration with Mkhondo Local Municipality, hosted a remarkable Certificates Handover Ceremony.
This event celebrated the dedication and hard work of 29 participants trained in Forestry Silviculture and 72 participants in Environmental Practice through accredited training by Yebo Skills Academy.
The ceremony was graced by distinguished guests, including the MMC for Planning and Economic Development, Cllr. TE Khumalo, as well as Ms Fela Mashaba (EPWP Training Manager) and Mr Isaac Mothapo from DPWI.
Ms Mashaba spoke inspiring words, acknowledging the achievements of all the graduates. “Today is a special day for us in EPWP as we celebrate the achievement of the participants who have successfully completed the skills training.”
