The programme commenced with the MEC, the Executive Mayor, and other key officials handing over stock to black owned Spaza Shops in Dirkiesdorp (ward 3)and inaugurating the newly built office of Mphazima Funeral Parlour, owned by young entrepreneur Snethemba Ndlangamandla.

Mphazima Funeral Parlour is one of many businesses funded by the Mpumalanga Department of Economic Development and Tourism.

The event highlighted how ambitious the youth of Mkhondo is, who turned out in large numbers to learn how to establish and sustain successful businesses.

Additionally, various stakeholders present at the session showcased their services, and further committed to support the development of local entrepreneurs.

MEC Masilela took advantage of this session and handed over a brand new camera to MkhondoTV, which was established by a young person, Dlozi Msibi.
