Today, on 12 April 2025, Mkhondo Local Municipality conducted its last meeting for the day for the 2025/26 Integrated Development Plan (IDP) and Budget consultation meeting of the day at Council Chamber under Ward 07.
The meeting was presided over by Ward 07 Councillor, Cllr. Irene Brussow.
The primary objective of the meeting was to engage with the community regarding their service delivery needs.
Councillor Brussow presented projects that have been completed by the municipality in Ward 07 and discussed the progress of other outstanding projects as outlined in the previous IDP document.
Furthermore, eligible residents were encouraged to register for the indigent programme to ensure that they continue to receive essential services without interruption.
Among the attendees were Senior Manager Legal Services, Mrs Buyi Nxumalo; Acting CFO Thulasizwe Motha and Chief Fire, Anton Notjie; Development Workers ,Ward Committee Members, and MLM deployed Officials.
