Today, on 12 April 2025, Mkhondo Local Municipality conducted its second 2025/26 Integrated Development Plan (IDP) and Budget consultation meeting of the day at Phola Park Sports Ground under Ward 16.
The meeting was presided over by Ward Councillor, Cllr. Thembi Qwabe.
The primary objective of the meeting was to engage with the community regarding their service delivery needs.
Councillor Qwabe presented projects that have been completed by the municipality in Ward 16 and discussed the progress of other outstanding projects as outlined in the previous IDP document.
Furthermore, eligible residents were encouraged to register for the indigent programme to ensure that they continue to receive essential services without interruption.
Amongst the attendees were Senior Manager for Budget, Mr Thulasizwe Motha,Community Development Workers, Ward Committee Members, and MLM deployed Officials.
