Today, on 12 April 2025, Mkhondo Local Municipality conducted its first 2025/26 Integrated Development Plan (IDP) and Budget consultation meeting of the day at Amsterdam Town Hall, under Ward 19.
The meeting was presided over by Ward Councillor, Cllr. Musa Lukhele.
The primary objective of the meeting was to engage with the community regarding their service delivery needs.
Councillor Lukhele presented projects that have been completed by the municipality in Ward 19 and discussed the progress of other outstanding projects as outlined in the previous IDP document.
Furthermore, eligible residents were encouraged to register for the indigent programme to ensure that they continue to receive essential services without interruption.
Amongst the attendees were the Executive Mayor Cllr. Ngelosi Ndhlovu, Community Development Workers, Ward Committee Members, and MLM deployed Officials.
