The Integrated Development Plan and Budget meetings for Ward 04 were successfully held at Wemer Sports Ground and Iswepe Community Hall today, 6 April 2025.
Both meetings were chaired by the Ward Councillor, Cllr. Daniel Thwala.
The primary purpose of the meetings was to engage with the community regarding their service delivery needs. The Councillor presented the projects that the municipality has completed for Ward 04 and discussed the progress of other outstanding projects outlined in the previous IDP document.
The Chairperson emphasised the importance of paying the flat rate, which commenced on 1 April for residents in rural communities. This initiative is crucial for ensuring the sustainability of local services and infrastructure.
Among the attendees were Community Development Workers, Ward Committee members, and delegated Municipal Officials, all of whom contributed to the discussions and provided valuable insights into the community’s needs and expectations.
