The Executive Mayor of Mkhondo Local Municipality, Cllr. Ngelosi Ndhlovu, along with Gert Sibande District Municipality Chairperson Archbishop SM Nkosi, launched a Moral Regeneration Movement today 26 February 2025.
The goal of the Moral Generation initiative is to facilitate and restore morals within Mkhondo communities.
During the session, a committee comprising various stakeholders was established.
The launch was attended by key stakeholders including the South African Police Service, Department of Labour, Department of Justice, Department of Public Works, Department of Social Development, Correctional Services, Department of Home Affairs, Department of Agriculture, Department of Health, Department of Education, Gijima Tsotsi, Youth Desk, Unions, NGOs, business sectors, Skebhe, Mkhondo Ministries Fraternal, older persons and those with disabilities, media representatives, and the community members.
