On 11 March 2025, Cllr. D.M. Ntshakala, in his capacity as the Chairperson of the Municipal Public Accounts Committee (MPAC), led the Committee in a public consultation programme in Saul MkhizeVille Municipal Offices, covering Ward 1, Ward 2, and Ward 18 and on the 12 March 2025 in Amsterdam Municipal Offices
The 2023-24 Draft Annual Report was presented by the Manager for Performance Management Systems (PMS) Oupa Zwane and that laid a foundation of the submissions pertaining the report.
The main objective of the session was to provide the community and other stakeholders with information about the municipality’s non-financial and financial performance for the 2023-24 financial year.
Additionally, it was aimed at giving the community an opportunity to make submissions regarding the draft annual report.
In support of the MPAC proceedings MLM Councillors, Officials, Ward Committee Members, and Community Development Workers were also in attendance.
