On 07 March 2025, the Mkhondo Local Municipality Acting Executive Mayor, Cllr. W Vilakazi accompanied by the MMC for Corporate Services, Cll. M Mkhabela together with municipal officials honored the invitation of Alpha and Omega School.
The purpose of the gathering was to render a Prayer for the Alpha and Omega School community which are the learners, educators, staff and the school supporting team for the improvement of their performance in teaching and learning.
The school is said to be a Christian school who is determined “to develop ambassadors who fulfill their purpose in God’s Kingdom in every aspect of their lives and within communities, cities and nations.”
Pastor N Nhleko led the team on a prayer.
The school officially opened its upgraded computer centre where learners get to learn through digital platform, keeping up with modern technologies, like 4IR.
In support of the event, stakeholders who were in attendance were, Mkhondo Local Municipality officials, Circuit Manager of Mkhondo West, Ms P Khanyi, Bison representative, Pastor N Nhleko, Alpha and Omega board members representatives, in the presence of the School Founder, Mrs P Naidoo, Educators and the Learners at large.
The guests were kept entertained by the Grade 7 learners performancing beautiful musical dances.
