The Executive Mayor Cllr. Ngelosi Ndhlovu, along with Ward 09 Councillor, Cllr. Thokozani Manana; Acting Municipal Manager, Mtha’Mkhonza; Acting Chief Financial Officer, Stephan Chavarika; General Manager Community Services, Zama Mthethwa; General Manager Technical Services, Siphesihle Nkosi; Community Development Worker, Mamsy Shabalala and Ward Committee Member, Khonzeni Simelane held a meeting with the community of kwaBhedu under ward 09.
The purpose of the meeting was to address issues related to service delivery in the area.
The Executive Mayor indicated that the municipality is working with other departments in developing strategies that will assist in developing local communities, and further encouraged the community members to register co-operatives, which will enable them to acquire knowledge and skills and be able to address socio-economic challenges within the area.
