18 December 2024, a moment of joy and hope unfolded at Ward 17 ‘eZinkomeni as the MEC for Human Settlements, Hon. Speed Mashilo accompanied by District Mayor Cllr. Walter Mngomezulu, Speaker of Council Cllr. Mduduzi Ngwenya, Whip of Council Cllr. Daniel Thwala, MLM Councillors & Management, and key stakeholders came together to hand over three new houses to elderly beneficiaries.
