The Mkhondo Local Municipality hereby invites any expressions of interests from emerging small businesses, Government Departments, NPOs and NGOs as well as other private sector stakeholders interested in the utilization of municipal land/sites for commercial, social, institutional, recreational, educational and many other uses incidental hereto in terms of Section 79(18) of the Local Government Ordinance, 1939 (Ordinance 17 of 1939) as amended read together with Section 21 of the Local Government: Municipal Systems Act, 2000 (Act 32 of 2000) as amended, Section 27 of the Mkhondo Supply Chain Policy, Section 14(2)(a)(b), (4), (5) read with Section 90 and Section 120 with Regulation 40 of the Municipal Financial Management Act, 2003 (Act 56 of 2003 as amended) which governs the disposal of municipal capital assets.
