On 25 March 2026, young people from Mkhondo gathered at the Ethandukhanya Public Library to take part in a Youth Empowerment Workshop aimed at equipping them with essential skills for the job market.
The workshop provided practical support, including assistance with CV writing, interview preparation, registration on the Employment Services of South Africa (ESSA) system, cover letter development, and guidance on completing Z83 application forms.
This initiative forms part of the ongoing efforts by Mkhondo Local Municipality, in partnership with the Department of Employment & Labour, to empower young people, restore dignity, and create pathways to employment opportunities.
