On 29 April 2025, Mkhondo Local Municipality held its first consultation meeting of the day for the 2025/26 Integrated Development Plan (IDP) and Budget at eMakhwabane in Ward 06.
The meeting was presided over by Ward Councillor Cllr. M.S Ngwenya.
The primary objective of the meeting was to engage with the community regarding their service delivery needs in accordance with the IDP document.
During the meeting, community members were given an opportunity to voice their concerns and provide input regarding service delivery within the ward.
In attendance were the MMC for Planning and Economic Development, Cllr. T.E KHumalo, Senior Manager for Assets; Ms Q.Z Mbatha, Senior Manager Environmental Management and Social Development; Mr V Dube, and MLM Officials.
