NOTICE ON UNPLANNED POWER SUPPLY INTERRUPTION AFFECTING SOME STREETS SUPPLIED BY SMITH 2 BREAKER
This notice serves to notify residents of the current power supply interruption affecting the following streets:
Theo Mocker Street
Kotze Street
Measroche Street, and surroundings
This is due to a faulty overhead low voltage line. The team is currently working on the fault.
The estimated time of restoration is 20:00 pm.

Groonfountain
Pick n Pay Woodhill section and nearby areas
Municipal technicians are working on the fault to ensure that power is restored.

NOTICE ON POSSIBLE WATER SUPPLY SHORTAGE DUE TO ESKOM STAGE 6 LOAD SHEDDING
This notice serves to notify residents of a possible water shortage resulting from the current Eskom stage 6 load shedding.
The municipality pumps water using electricity, during load shedding back-up generators are used to supply the whole town, which puts our generators under immense pressure during the implementation of high load shedding stages, which potentially lead to water shortages across the whole town.
It is therefore important for residents to ensure that water is stored to carry out daily duties.
In efforts to further assist residents, water tankers will be dispatched to supply water to the affected residents.

UPDATE ON THE UNPLANNED POWER SUPPLY INTERRUPTION AFFECTING RICHARDSBAY, THEMBALABASHA AND SURROUNDINGS
The municipal technicians have been working around the clock to ensure that power is restored.
In Richardsbay power will be restored shortly.
In Thembalabasha, technicians are on site installing a new transformer.
Residents will be kept abreast with progress.

- Thembalabasha
- SK Krushes
- Metshisweni section
- Plots section
Municipal Technicians are on site attending to the matter to ensure that power in the vicinities is restored.
