Mkhondo Local Municipality hereby invites the public to inspect the 2019/20 Annual Budget at the Municipal Offices as per the requirements of the Municipal Budget and Reporting Regulations which reads “Within ten working days after the municipal council has approved an annual budget, the municipal manager must in accordance with section 21(A) of the Municipal Systems Act make public the approved budget and supporting documentation, as well as the resolutions referred to in regulation 25(3).

Mkhondo Local Municipality is here by inviting all consumers to come and update their billing addresses and information for the purpose of sending monthly consumer accounts to the correct consumer address.
The Municipality is further advising consumers with outstanding debt on their municipal accounts to pay and settle such debts or either come to the municipal offices to make proper arrangements and sign payment agreement for their consumer accounts. Should a consumer continue owing the municipality with no arrangement and signed agreement with the municipality, the municipality will then terminate the services of electricity without any prior notice given to such consumer.
