WOMEN'S DEVELOPMENT AND DIALOGUE PROGRAMME
Today, 16 May 2024, the Gert Sibande District Municipality and Mkhondo Local Municipality came together at Eziphuzini Community Hall to host a Women’s Development and Dialogue Programme in Ward 11.
The session aimed to facilitate insightful discussions on Gender Based Violence affecting women in Mkhondo and to provide support to women in business with Tools of Trade, enabling them to make positive changes in the business sector.
The session was graced by the presence of the MMC for Special Programmes in Gert Sibande District Municipality - Cllr. Busisiwe Mkhwanazi, the Acting Executive Mayor for Mkhondo Local Municipality - Cllr. Mthandeni Mkhabela, uNdlunkulu from Madabukela Traditional Council and Ward 11 Councillor, Cllr. Nhlanhla Gwebu.
