The Mkhondo Local Municipality HIV and AIDS unit has conducted an induction for all its stakeholders on programmes designed to identify and address area-specific determinants and impacts of HIV, TB, and STIs.
The induction was held at the Council Chamber today, with the purpose of providing a platform for stakeholders to transfer knowledge, develop skills, and engage in collaborative learning to ensure an effective response to the HIV/AIDS epidemic.
The session also emphasised the importance of building partnerships and strengthening networks between civil society, health professionals, and communities to combat stigmas within the society.
