With the festive season upon us, the safety of our communities becomes a priority.
In quest of fighting crime and substance abuse, Mkhondo Local Municipality is on mission, creating safer communities this festive season.
On the 30th of November 2023, The Municipality Collaborated with key stakeholders, the Mkhondo Community Safety Forum, taking a united stand against rising crime this festive season.
Joined by Mkhondo Liquor Forum, Department of Justice , Department of Education , Provincial Traffic , SASSA, Department of Home Affairs , Traditional Affairs , Farmers (AGRI Forum), AFRI Forum, Church Leaders , Taxi Association , Security Companies and Truck Associations together, devising strategies and safety plans to ensure a safer Mkhondo throughout the festive season.
