The KwaThandeka circuit’s matric class of 2025 was honored for their academic achievements at a special awards ceremony on 20 February 2026.
The Executive Mayor of Mkhondo Local Municipality Cllr. Ngelosi Ndhlovu graced the ceremony, and during her keynoteaddress, she highlighted the importance of establishing a TVET college in Amsterdam to address the socio-economic challenges and make education more accessible.
Kwa-Thandeka Circuit Manager, Mr PE Mahlangu congratulated learners and educators for their dedication and on improved results, rising from 79.1% in 2024 to 91.7% in 2025.
Top achievers received certificates, trophies, travel luggageas and prizes. The outstanding performances of the Grade 11 and primary school learners within the circuit were also recognised and awarded Certificates.
Among the various stakeholders attended the event included the Mpumalanga Department of Education representatives, Circuit Managers, Principals, Educators, Chief of Ogenyaneni M.T Yende and other relevant stakeholders.
