On 10 June 2026, Gert Sibande District Municipality Chief Whip, Cllr. B.A. Mtshali, accompanied by District Executive Mayor Cllr. Walter Mngomezulu and Speaker of Council, Cllr. M.Z. Ngwenya, visited Zendeling Post Combined School in eNtombe, Ward 15.
The visit formed part of the District Municipality’s ongoing commitment to supporting education and creating a conducive learning environment for learners, following the school’s underperformance in the 2025 academic year.
During the outreach programme, the leadership officially handed over materials for the repair of school desks and chairs, a project that will be implemented in partnership with the Community Work Programme (CWP). The school also received laptops for the School Management Team and scientific calculators to support teaching and learning.
