eMabola, Ward 03, 09 July 2026 – The Gert Sibande District Municipality Speaker of Council, Cllr B.G. Sekhonde, together with the Mkhondo Local Municipality Speaker of Council, Cllr M.Z. Ngwenya, paid a courtesy visit to the Madlangampisi Royal House under the leadership of Chief J.A. Tshabalala today.
The purpose of the visit was to engage with Traditional Leadership and make the necessary arrangements for the forthcoming voter registration drive in the area.
The visit was attended by officials from the Independent Electoral Commission (IEC), the Mpumalanga Provincial Legislature, Gert Sibande District Municipality Whip of Council, Cllr B.H. Mtshali, Ward 03 Councillor, Cllr M.N. Mbhatha, PR Councillor, Cllr D.M. Ntshakala, and officials from the Gert Sibande District Municipality.
