Executive Mayor Cllr. Ngelosi Ndhlovu of Mkhondo Local Municipality recently visited uZwelo Children’s Home on 16 August 2025, to spread love, joy, and kindness among the children. Accompanied by Speaker of Council Cllr. Mduduzi Ngwenya and other council members, they engaged in various activities with the kids.
The mayor and her team arrived early to prepare warm meals for the children, showcasing their commitment to caring for the community’s well-being.
They participated in fun activities like football, inqathu, umlabalaba, and other games, creating joyful memories for the children.
Executive Mayor Cllr. Ndhlovu spent quality time with the children, reading a storybook titled “Gabe’s Busy Day” to foster a love for reading and learning.
The day concluded with the mayor and her team serving meals to the children, demonstrating their dedication to supporting vulnerable members of the community.
