The Kempville bus and taxi routes construction project, undertook by the Mkhondo Local Municipality, is now complete, bringing numerous benefits to the community. This initiative aimed to provide safer, smoother, and more convenient travel for residents, enhancing their overall quality of life.
The project construction followed after the awarding of the tender on 21 November 2024 to Bonginkosi Yethu Trading Enterprise.
Under Infrastructure Improvements, The project included stabilized layers, asphalt surfacing, stormwater channels, concrete pipes, and kerb inlets, ensuring a durable and well-designed transportation infrastructure.
When it comes to the Community Impact, The new bus and taxi routes will improve access to essential services, employment, and education, contributing to the local economy’s growth and development.
