On 13 May 2025 and 16 May 2025, Chief Traffic Officer Lucky Ngozo led a public consultation at the Amsterdam Taxi Rank, and Driefontein Taxi Rank.
Later in the month, On 19 May 2025, Senior Traffic Officer NS Malinga led a public consultation at Mkhondo taxi rank.
The purpose of these consultations was to discuss the amended Traffic Management and Parking Control By-Laws draft with the community, particularly taxi owners and drivers.
These consultations were attended by Mkhondo Local Municipality traffic officers, taxi owners, and taxi drivers.
