On 28 April 2026, the Executive Mayor of Mkhondo Local Municipality, Cllr. N.C. Ndhlovu, conducted a school oversight visit at Injabulo Combined School in Mabola, under Ward 3.
The purpose of the visit was to ensure that the school is functioning properly and that learners receive a safe, quality education. The visit served as both a monitoring and support exercise.
During the visit, the Executive Mayor donated school shoes, sanitary towels, and toiletry hampers to learners.
Executive Mayor Cllr. N.C. Ndhlovu also encouraged learners to approach the academic year with determination and to always strive for excellence, regardless of the challenges they may face.
The school principal, Mr M.M. Nhlabathi, expressed his sincere gratitude to Mkhondo Local Municipality for the generous donation and ongoing support.
The attendance included the MMC for Technical Services, Cllr. DM Thwala; the MMC for Community Services, Cllr. JM Nkosi; Cllr. NM Mbatha; Cllr. DM Ntshakala; and other municipal officials.
