Mkhondo Local Municipality has officially introduced the contractor appointed for the electrification of Retiefville Section in Ward 10.
The introduction ceremony marks the commencement of a project that will provide electricity to 250 households in the Retiefville community. The project aims to improve the quality of life for residents by providing access to reliable electricity.
The project will not only enhance service delivery but will also contribute to local economic development. Thirteen (13) local residents from Ward 10 have been employed to work alongside the construction team through the community rotation system.
The Municipality remains committed to ensuring universal access to basic services and improving the living conditions of all communities within Mkhondo.
