NTE FACTORY DONATES WASTE DISPOSAL BINS TO MKHONDO LOCAL MUNICIPALITY

NTE Factory recently donated six mass container bins to Mkhondo Local Municipality in a bid to promote proper waste disposal and contribute to a cleaner environment in the community of Iswepe, Ward 04. The handover ceremony took place on 03 September 2025, and was attended by key officials, including Ms. Zamanyambose Mthethwa, General Manager for Community Services, and Ward Councillor Cllr. S.D. Thwala.

The donated bins aim to address the challenge of improper waste disposal and improve waste in the area.

The initiative marks the beginning of a working relationship between NTE Factory and Mkhondo Local Municipality, strengthening collaboration towards achieving sustainable environmental management.

The donation is part of NTE Factory’s ongoing efforts to improve the lives of people in Iswepe and Mkhondo.

The attendees at the Handover Ceremony included:

Cllr. S.D. Thwala, Ward Councillor; Ms. Zama Mthethwa, General Manager Community Services; Mr. William Aherin, Industrial Manager; Mr. Hossen Hasani, Factory Manager (represented by Mr. Dushern Behari); Mr. Kishon Singh, HR Officer; Mr. Robert Vundla, HR Manager; Induna yaso Ogenyaneni, Community Development Worker and Other NTE factory representatives.

This initiative demonstrates the positive impact of collaboration between local businesses and government institutions in promoting community development and environmental sustainability.
