Soil Turning for Construction of a Road, Hawker Stalls and Checking on Progress of Dignified Sanitation Toilets project by Mkhondo Local Municipality - 31 January 2018
On the 31 January 2018 - Executive Mayor, Hon. Cllr Vusi Motha accompanied by the Speaker, Cllr Thembi Nkosi, General Manager, Mr. Mduduzi Thabede, LED Forum representative and Local Business people, embarked on the Soil turning for construction of a Road and Hawkers stalls in Amsterdam. The team also checked on the progress of Dignified Sanitation Toilet project done by Mkhondo Local Municpality.

During the first day of the New year 2018 School Re-Opening, Speaker - Cllr Thembi Nkosi of Mkhondo Local Municipality, Deputy Minister of the Department of Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries, Mr Bheki Cele and the team visited "Ndlela High School and Amadlelo Aluhlaza Secondary School for the purpose of Motivating the 2018 learners to study and perform to their full capacity and achieve best result at the year end.
