The Speaker of Mkhondo Municipal Council, honourable Cllr Thembelihle Nkosi hereby gives notice in terms of Section 19 (a) of the Local Government: Municipal Systems Act, No. 32 of 2000 that a Council meeting of the Mkhondo Local Municipality will be held in the Council Chamber of Mkhondo Local Municipality, situated at 33 Cnr Mark & De Wet Streets, eMkhondo, on Wednesday, 30 May 2018 at 10h00.
The Council will, among other issues, be discussing the following reports:
- Final Review of the Integrated Development Plan (IDP) for 2018/19 financial year
- Report on the 2018/19 Final Budget
- 2017/18 Special Adjustment Budget

Municipal Notice No.: 10-04-20/2018 Public Notice Calling for Inspection of the Valuation Roll and Lodging of Objections
Notice is hereby given in terms of Section 49(1)(a)(i) read together with section 78(2) of the Local Government: Municipal Property Rates Act, 2004 (Act No.6 of 2004), herein after referred to as the "Act", that the evaluation roll for the financial years 1 July 2018 to 30 June 2023 is open for public inspection at the Municipal office - Finance Department (Revenue Section) from the 11 April 2018 to 31 May 2018.

Municipal Notice No.: 07-04-13/2018 Registration for Indigent Subsidy 2018/2019 Financial Year
The Notice is hereby given that Mkhondo Local Municipality has once again opened an opportunity for all potential beneficiaries to come and apply for Indigent Subsidy grant as from 16 April 2018 to 31 July 2018. All current registered indigent beneficiaries are also requested to renew their indigent from the above mentioned date, failure to renew, their status will result in automatic deregistration.
The indigent forms will be available for collection and submission in the Finance Department: Revenue section of 23 Cnr Mark & De Wet Street Mkhondo 2380, between 08:00 am and 15:00 pm weekdays. Municipal Notice No.: 08-04-13/2018 The Perusal of the Approved Draft Review Integrated Development Plan for 2018/2019
The Council adopted its first draft review Integrated Development Plan 2018 - 2019 of 2017-2022 on its ordinary Council Meeting held on the 28th of March 2018.
The Municipality place the draft review IDP in the venues that members of the public can access for perusal and comment from 12 April 2018 until 11 May 2018.

Power Interruption - 19 March 2018
