DAY 9 (SESSION 2): MKHONDO LOCAL MUNICIPALITY INTEGRATED DEVELOPMENT PLAN REVIEW MEETINGS FOR 2024/25 FINANCIAL YEAR
The second meeting under Ward 5, Amsterdam was held at Kwa Thandeka Community Hall yesterday, 21st October 2023 and was chaired by Ward Councillor, Cllr. JM. Nkosi.
Delegated municipal officials from different units within the municipality were also present to respond to questions raised by community members.
The aim of the IDP review meeting is for the municipality to review service delivery concerns that had been raised by the communities during the IDP Consultative Meetings.
DAY 9 (SESSION 1): MKHONDO LOCAL MUNICIPALITY INTEGRATED DEVELOPMENT PLAN REVIEW MEETINGS FOR 2024/25 FINANCIAL YEAR
The meeting was held at Mlambo Primary School in Vezunyawo under Ward 19 on the 21st October 2023 and was chaired by Ward Councillor, Cllr. MS. Lukhele.
The aim of the IDP review meeting is for the municipality to review service delivery concerns that had been raised by the communities during the IDP Consultative Meetings.
DAY 8 (SESSION 2): MKHONDO LOCAL MUNICIPALITY INTEGRATED DEVELOPMENT PLAN REVIEW MEETINGS FOR 2024/25 FINANCIAL YEAR
The meeting was held at Sakhisizwe Primary School in Ward 02 Saul Mkhizeville and was chaired by Ward Councilor, Cllr. B.E Mayisela.
Delegated municipal officials from different units within the municipality were also present to respond to questions raised by community members.

The meeting was held at Rustplaas Youth Centre in Ward 6 and was chaired by Ward Councillor, Cllr. M Ngwenya . Also in attendance was the Speaker of Council, as well as Municipal Officials from various departments .

The meeting was held at the Old Beer Hall in Ward 10 yesterday, 18th of October 2023, and was directed by Ward Councillor, Cllr. ZM Thomo.
Delegated municipal officials were also present and took part in the dialogue between Cllr. Thomo and community members

DAY 6 (SESSION 1): MKHONDO LOCAL MUNICIPALITY INTEGRATED DEVELOPMENT PLAN REVIEW MEETINGS FOR 2024/25 FINANCIAL YEAR
The IDP review meeting took place yesterday, 18th of October 2023 at Skyfin Community Hall in Ward 16 at eThandukukhanya, and it was chaired by the Ward Councillor, Cllr. T Qwabe.
Delegated municipal officials and Ward Committee members were also in attendance of the meeting to assist in answering questions raised by the community.
The aim of the IDP review meeting is for the municipality to review service delivery concerns that had been raised by the communities during the IDP Consultative Meetings.
DAY 3: MOTIVATIONAL PRAYER SESSIONS FOR THE MATRIC CLASS OF 2023
The Acting Executive Mayor, Cllr. TE. Khumalo, together with her entourage, the Whip of Council, Ward Councillors, Pastors, delegates from the Department of Education and Municipal Officials were in attendance of the sessions.
Two sessions took place yesterday, 18th of October 2023. The first at iNqubeko Secondary School and the second at uBuhlebuzile Secondary School.
The Motivational Prayer Sessions were aimed at encouraging and motivating learners and educators for the upcoming exams, all executed under the theme, “With God, Your Best Days Are Ahead, Not Behind”.
TEENAGE PREGNANCY DIALOGUE 2023
Mkhondo Local Municipality Executive Mayor Cllr. Ngelosi Ndhlovu attended a Teenage Pregnancy Dialogue on 17 October 2023 at Skeyfin Hall in Ward 13.
The dialogue involved Government Departments and Civil Societies with the aim of raising awareness on teenage pregnancy and other social ills in schools.
The dialogue also focused on assisting learners on how to access accurate information and resources to make informed decisions.
DAY 1: MOTIVATIONAL PRAYER SESSIONS FOR THE MATRIC CLASS OF 2023
The Executive Mayor Cllr. Ngelosi Ndhlovu, together with her entourage, yesterday led the delegated municipal officials to the motivational prayer sessions at eZakheni and iZimbali Combined Boarding School.
Circuit Managers, Principals, Educators, and Pastors were also part of these sessions.
The motivational prayer sessions are aimed at encouraging and motivating learners and educators for the upcoming exams, all executed under the theme, “With God, Your Best Days Are Ahead, Not Behind”.
MKHONDO COMMUNITY SAFETY FORUM MEETING
Mkhondo Local Municipality, through Community Services Department; coordinated a meeting with local SAPS, Correctional Services, Afri-forum, CPF, Taxi Association, Mkhondo Business Chambers, and other relevant stakeholders.
The purpose of the meeting was to discuss issues pertaining to crime in Mkhondo and come up with solutions on how crime can be prevented in Mkhondo .
